Job Summary:
Work as part of a professional aviation maintenance team to support the MH-139 Grey Wolf. The Grey Wolf is set to replace the UH-1 within the USAF for specific mission sets. You will be expected to perform inspections, checks, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, maintenance and preservation of avionics and similar equipment. Calibration of tools and equipment and bore sighting operations may be required. Other related taskings to support the mission may be needed.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs aircraft maintenance transit inspections and fault resolution.
  • Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections, performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.
  • Cleans parts, using cleaning solutions, and polishing and lapping compounds.
  • Performs work under general supervision.
  • Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
  • Typically requires HS and 4-6 years. Must have a broad knowledge of AC/DC electricity, electromechanical components, radio, and electronics (state-of-the-art) including radar and navigation, autopilot/automatic stabilization, and armament systems as used in aircraft.
  • Must have a knowledge of, and ability to apply shop mathematics in the performance of the job.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS diploma required.
  • AW139 experience highly desired.USAF helicopter maintenance experience highly desired.
  • Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain such is required.Must be a US Citizen.
